Crane Unloading & Placement — TATA Projects Site, Assam
Mobile crane unloading and placement of wrapped plant equipment at a TATA Projects greenfield site in Assam, worked alongside TATA and Johnson Controls site teams.

The Challenge
A greenfield construction site brings no ready-made standing for a crane. Equipment arrived wrapped on multi-axle trailers and had to be lifted clear and set down on ground still being formed, with excavation open nearby, civil work running in parallel and several contractors sharing the same working area.
Our Approach
Every lift was preceded by a toolbox talk on site with TATA Projects and Johnson Controls supervisors, so the sequence, exclusion zone and signals were agreed before anything left the trailer. The crane was set on outriggers bearing onto spreader pads to distribute load across unconsolidated ground. Units were rigged on a four-leg wire rope bridle with tag lines held from the ground to control rotation through the lift, and remained wrapped throughout to protect finished surfaces.
The Result
Units lifted clear of the trailers and set down without damage or incident, with the crane released back to the site programme the same day.
