The Challenge
Peerless Hospital remained fully operational throughout. The old 450 TR chiller had to be dismantled and removed, and the new Trane unit installed — all through restricted hospital service corridors with strict noise, vibration, and infection control requirements.
Our Approach
Work was scheduled during night shifts and weekends to minimise patient impact. Acoustic barriers were installed around the work zone. The old unit was sectioned for removal through narrow doors, and the new chiller was rigged in using a phased lift plan approved by hospital facilities management.
The Result
The chiller swap was completed with zero disruption to hospital operations. The new Trane unit was commissioned and operational within the planned timeline. Hospital administration confirmed full satisfaction.
