The Challenge
The data centre was live with active server halls adjacent to the chiller plant room. Any vibration, dust, or accidental impact could cause catastrophic downtime. NTT's strict access and safety protocols had to be followed precisely.
Our Approach
The Kirloskar compressors were carefully disconnected, rigged onto pipe rollers, and moved through the data centre's service corridors using manual chain blocks — no motorised equipment that could generate vibration. Dust barriers were installed and monitoring was maintained throughout.
The Result
All compressors successfully dismantled and shifted without any impact to the live data centre operations. NTT's facility manager confirmed zero vibration or dust incidents throughout the operation.
