The Challenge
The hospital campus had limited space for crane setup and the chiller had to be placed in a plant area accessible only through the main campus road, which is used by ambulances and patients.
Our Approach
The lift was scheduled during early morning to minimise patient and ambulance traffic. A compact crane setup was used, and spotters managed pedestrian movement around the work zone. The chiller was placed directly on its foundation pad in a single lift.
The Result
Chiller installed successfully with no disruption to hospital emergency access. The operation was completed before peak hospital hours.
